Let's Talk Assets!

The Let’s Talk Youth Affinity Group – part of Let’s Talk Initiative of the United Way of Muscatine – is kicking off a campaign that promotes and encourages all of us to the building of assets among the youth and children of our community.  Planned to coincide with the school year, “Let’s Talk Assets” highlights a different asset each month, and uses print, radio and television to promote our message.  Through the Muscatine Journal, KWPC radio, announcements in the schools, and special events, the public will be invited to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.  In an effort to give the youth of our community a voice, we are currently developing a Youth Advisory Council. We hope you will join us!

Let's Talk TV Show!

The show will air once again starting this spring, but with a new host!

Betty Collins from the Musser Public Library will be the new, fresh face of the Let's Talk television show.

The show will remain focused on the 40 Developmental Assets along with the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens.
