Why I became a United Way of Muscatine (UWM) Volunteer

Having lived in Muscatine for over thirty years, I am very grateful and fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community. Volunteering for the past several years has provided me a feeling of "giving back" for all the resources and opportunities this community has provided me, my friends and family

Being able to contribute with fellow volunteers to help improve the lives of our friends and neighbors is truly a rewarding experience. It is a very gratifying feeling to see how much of a difference that even a small effort can make in the lives of others.
